Located in the southwestern Andino region, home of the Nevado de Huila Volcano, the department of Huila typically offers coffees in higher acidity and floral notes. Washed processed lots are pre-chosen for decaffeination.
This coffee benefits from a sustainable, quality enhancing process that occurs at origin. After the green coffee is soaked in a bath of fermented sugarcane water the natural solvent is removed via low pressure steaming.
