This rendition of Stratus is comprised of two single estate coffees, oceans apart. Tega & Tula Specialty Coffee farms in Ethiopia devotes 400 acres to cultivars released in the 1970s mixed with native wild coffee varieties. Its naturals are raised-bed dried approximately 3 weeks. Also employing raised-bed drying, Sigri Estate of Papua New Guinea’s exclusive Kula Process double color and hand sorts coffee as well as adding a full day anaerobic fermentation stage to the traditional 3-day wash.
