Leyser Mondragon is from Northern Peru near Jaen in a region called Colasay. He and his wife, Leila, are both 35 years old and live with their 3 children, Danyer, Neison, and Grisely. Their farm is called El Cangrejo, the Crab in English and it is certified organic. It is 1.25 hectares at 1958 meters above sea-level. The farm consists of 60% Bourbon and 40% Catuai trees and is able to produce ~23 bags of 69kg bags per year. They also grow plantains and yuca. They employ 2 full time farm workers and 2 temporary workers during harvest time. All of their coffees are washed in cement tanks and dried on a covered patio.
